Reflections has been used before for the weekly photo challenge during December 2012.

I was greedy then and actually did four posts, see here ONE TWO THREE & FOUR.

This reflection was taken on a beautiful warm evening in May 2008, at Port Ellen on the Hebridean Island of Islay.

You can see more photos of this stunning island here

  1. i just revisited your four earlier posts, all of them unique and DT quite accommodating in some cases 🙂
there is something unique and almost surreal about reflections, isn’t there? like the sky is so much larger. thanks for sharing.

    • I used most of my best reflections last time, but I still have a few left if they decide to do this challenge again 😉

Yes, DT was kinder to me last time round, I only seem to get grey these days 😦

  2. I love the way the sky is subtly mirrored in the water. Peaceful.

    • Hi ED, hope you’re keeping well, you’ve been silent for a while 😦

It was a beautiful sight on a very peaceful evening. The photo doesn’t do it justice.

      • It’s funny even if the image doesn’t convey it, if you love they sort of places as we do, then it’s easy to imagine how it feels.
Thank you – I’ve just been busier than usual at work, and life in general…

  4. I missed this challenge. My best pic would have been of Annapurna reflected in a lake below in Nepal. Like Kris I looked back at the others too 🙂 I don’t need to look at pix of Islay though, I still have the pix in my head. Just a little different to the memories and photos in yours.

Islay huh? Thing is you need MOTs, Tiree is the place to go, I tell you. Get looking!!
