This is a photo I took several years ago of the two land Rovers I used to own.

A quick glance, and you might think I had a Discovery and a Defender, but all is not as it appears.

Lying low down to take the photo, changed the perspective of the image and the camera has tricked the eye into seeing something that wasn’t.

The red Discovery was a proper Land Rover, but the silver Defender, was as near as I could get to saying I owned one.

DSCF0002Here in the box, is my radio controlled defender 😉

  1. very nice idea for perspective. I like the red Land Rover. Great vehicle.

  2. Very neat – would love a Defender, even an RC version 🙂

and DT’s colour works well here here – highlighting the Defender perfectly.

  8. I was easily fooled, although I was thinking ‘what defender?’ He, of course, said ‘Is that one a toy?’

    ‘How did you know that?’

‘It didn’t look the right size.’

Never mess with a Land Rover fanatic 😀

Great photo for the challenge Vic, it’s left me uninspired for now.

(Super shade of lilac grey, snigger).

    • I thought A might guess the Defender was a toy 🙂
In hindsight the Defender needed to be further away from the Disco, and I needed to be nearer the Defender.
Ha ha…..did I expect anything other than grey again 😉
