Weekly Photo Challenge – Unique

When I first saw the Weekly Photo Challenge word for this week, my mind went bank.

How can I portray the word unique in a photo?

I started looking through a few photos, and realised almost everyone contained something unique.

Every person, every animal, every insect, every flower, every sunset, every cloud formation, every wave crashing on the beach. In fact there were hardly any without something unique in them.

So still a dilemma, which do I choose.

I decided eventually on the one above.

Jasper’s pawprint in the frost on the decking. We’d had a very frosty night and it was his first steps outside before the day warmed up enough for his pawprint to vanish forever.

Yes there will be more pawprints, in frost, in snow and in mud, they will all be unique too.

So captured forever a pawprint in the frost in December 2012.

  1. Good choice! …and they say that no two snowflakes are identical.. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. aw, love this, bless his little paw. and the rest of him, too! ๐Ÿ™‚
i found this hard, too – because there were so many options to choose from. since i had determined not to conver p&k to a cat blog, at least i was able to rule out images of Timmy, although it was very tempting ๐Ÿ™‚
i think it is as you say – not much is ordinary and everyday in our world. it is a gift to recognize that, it seems. how nice to have a camera to capture it ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. how abstract is that? love that imagery

  4. Perfect. Truly unique, and I like the colours ๐Ÿ™‚
